6D Facility Management

6D Facility Management

“6D” refers to the six stages in the lifecycle of a building: design, construction, commissioning, handover, operations, and decommissioning. 6D Facility Management leverages BIM technology to enable more efficient and effective management of buildings and facilities throughout their entire lifecycle. By utilizing BIM, facility managers can make better-informed decisions, improve maintenance practices, and reduce costs.

As Built Model: Based upon final set of construction documents (including any modifications or changes that were made during construction), as-built model is a 3D digital representation of a building or infrastructure project that is created after construction has been completed. MDSPL can make As Built Model using BIM (Building Information Modelling) software to combine data from various sources, including 3D laser scans, field measurements, and the final set of construction documents. The resulting model can be used for a variety of purposes, including facility management, maintenance, renovation, and expansion
