Laser Scan to BIM

Laser Scan to BIM

The process of converting laser scan data into BIM models is commonly referred to as “laser scan to BIM”.

Steps involved in this process:

Scanning through high end sensor cameras.

In Registration scanned data is combined and aligned to create a single point cloud which represents the complete geometry of the building.

In Modelling the point cloud data is used to create detailed BIM models that include all the necessary elements, such as walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and other building components.

These models can be used for a variety of purposes, such as renovation, retrofitting, and maintenance projects.
